Hi Dave.

I'm sorry that you've had to join 'the club', but welcome to the forum.

I'm not medically trained, mate, but I believe for Viagra to work effectively you need to feel the urge. If you still get erections at night whilst asleep, it would indicate that it's more of a psychological than a physical problem. 

For about year prior to my diagnosis I was having erectile dysfunction problems. I don't know if it was something to do with the cancer, just getting old or something else. I saw my GP and he put me on sildenafil which helped. I got this on prescription

Physical things like blood in your semen and the anxiety caused by a cancer diagnosis are bound to affect your libido.

General loss of libido I think is associated with the stress of diagnosis. "Specific" lack of erection that was previously OK should be raised with your urologist in case they damaged something during the biopsy...
