Always like to be prepared! Consultant has suggested using a Vacuum Pump prior to my prostrate removal.over coming months as he feels this can help with recovery. NHS will not supply one until after the operation ! With that in mind recomendations of specific models, where you got them from and costs.appreciated.  Wife has agreed to give me a little space to keep it in her own already full and huge toy box !

Hello again, mate.

I've never bothered using a pump. It seems bit too much of a palaver for me. I'm ham fisted and even find it difficult to pump the wife's bike tyres. I'm sure that any attempted penis pumping would end up in A&E visit.

There is evidence that using a VED is beneficial to penile rehabilitation, but to what extent is debatable.

There have been several conversations on here about pumps. Here are just a couple.

Pratap is our VED expert.

When I was looking into getting one, I found a site called A touchy subject, that discussed pumps in great detail. They even had a video of some brave bloke who'd had prostate cancer, demonstrating how to use one.

I think that the deluxe models can be quite expensive. Perhaps you could buy one for our wife as an early Xmas present. 🙂

Hopefully, after surgery, your bed time performance will not be too badly affected. I had non nerve sparing surgery and was completely disarmed. No natural erections for me anymore. However, Invicorp injections have worked, giving enough wood to stoke the fire.

Good luck, mate.👍
