Thanks for all the comments guys, really appreciate it http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif

Think i am starting to get a bit twitchy, 19 month HT and 12 months Abbi i am getting at the stage of one or both failing, and as i know my next treatment plan it has become very appealing to me.

My discussions with my Onco has always been if you pick the right time to change treatment then surely you can go back on that treatment as it has not failed you. makes sense to me http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif

So scans next month, then big discussion i like my idea and will take a lot of convincing not to change.

Best wishes to all

Si xx

19 days in France, 3 of which were properly sunny, 6 of which involved storms and emergency refuge areas on the campsite and the rest provided a lot of rainy cycling and damp scrabble. On the bright side, we laughed a lot and had a fantastic time. As soon as we got back to the uk we took the tent to the Dales where the weather was glorious and the tent dried out nicely.

Have a great time x

Or even worse, if these are the details for the hospice you will have would-be burglars and identity fraudsters phoning the hospice daily for updates on your condition :-0

Hi Si

Only just had chance to catch up. Really pleased to read your latest results. As Bri says you are abnormal, but long may you stay that way if it keeps giving you results like this.

Hope your scans next month are just as good news and you have a successful and beneficial chat with your onco after.

Have a lovely holiday. If you want the full gypsy look I could possibly source you a couple of coloured cobs (gypsy horses) to complete the image! 😜😄😄😄

Take care

Thanks all, we will have a great time give the caravan a good send off before we sell to fund the insurance for Disney in America next year.

I have the details Barry you can delete now, cant have any old tom, dick or harry turning up eating my scones http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif

I will email you when we are there, the grandparent will take the girls out for the day and we will pop down, the girls said they would only go if you played naughts and crosses better than Mick (they miss Mick) and the dog was there.

Hi Lyn thanks for the gentle reminder, not so much the Oramorph, more like old age creeping in....well racing in.

Si do you know what day you are thinking of? Please feel free to bring the girls there are lovely gardens to play in and apart from Tuesdays my border terrier Poppy will be here. She is very good with people and is very quiet ( 8 years old now )

Hope to see you soon,

Well that blows all those theories about dogs resembling their owners, then :-#

I am coming on Monday 22nd September - if Ness is getting scones, I want scones with jam & cream please.

Hi Barry,

I am getting in front of myself, we leave first thing tomorrow now this is the first trip this year and as the HT has turned me into a fat, no energy grumpy sod i will probably still be putting the awning up three days later and fighting anyone that laughshttp://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif

But as soon as we are done i will email with a couple of dates, Lyn there will be no scones lefthttp://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif and Barry when Lyn arrives lock your bathroom cabinet i hear she likes clarins moisturizer especially other peopleshttp://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif

Brilliant news. You are amazing! It's really made my day.

Bone scan tomorrow then my lovely radiographer Dr O'Connor who has done all my scans is giving me the results of both scans straight after if I buy the coffe. Love the man

Hi All

Scan results are in CT scan, no soft tissue and no lymphadenopathy.

Bone scan no progression.

Now the battle with Jamie to swap treatments will start next Thursday when he is back from holiday ( he should be quite chilled )

On the question of the four images on the bone scan, they do a lighter contrast for the skinny bits of the body ( Legs /arms) and a darker contrast for the fat bits.

Hi All

No need to reply to this post, i will be running this now for information for anyone with the same diagnosis as me in the future.

My first discussion with my onco back in January 2013 was along the lines of, i want a maverick someone willing to try anything even if it is just a gut feeling, well he got it right at the beginning putting me straight on chemo and after months of discussions we are going to change again.

So today's bloods are PSA less than 0.01, Testosterone less than 0.01 ALP 40 so all good and we enter 14 months on Abbi, the plan now is to stay on Abbi till January 3rd what ever happens then we will change to Radium 223 and MDV 3100 together, there is a trial about to start in America shortly but no other data available. Just how i like it http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif but Jamie thinks this will work a treat

through out the 14 months on Abbi i have had periods when i have taken one tablet with food rather than 4 without, so plenty to add into the mix as well.

Might be stupid but hay-ho worth a punt

Si Si Superman

as Julie says you are a cool driver .. Mick appreciated the smooth ride to the airport thankyou xx

As far as your blood results and treatment plans go WOW Fosters inducing WOW.

Every Oncologist deserves to have a miracle patient and I think J has got you ...brave, adventurous, undeterred and as Seal would say maybe just a little bit crazy.

You give others on this forum such hope. You know that Abbytabs work for you and I am assuming that if Rad and Enza do not then you can revert to Abby.

I want you all out here with me next time so keep working on it xxxxx

Thanks for your postings guys   Mo that's the plan, well it is mine, if a treatment has not failed you then there is no reason why you cannot go back on it.

Its just about picking the right time, a bit like playing Russian roulette  http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif  it took along time to convince Jamie http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif
