Cant hold myself and get stinging sensation when trying to pass urine not all the while though and still getting up quite frequently in the night could i have infection ?

Has your GP not tested you for an infection but you've already had a biopsy. Is that right?
You could possibly have an enlarged prostate which can be treated.
I would approach the GP for further testing on the infection front and to also ask for a referral for a possible enlargement.
Has anyone done a DRE (digital rectal exam?) on you to see what state the prostate is in?
Urinary infections are not always easily found or treated and biopsy can be a source of these. So I too would suggest be further considered, particularly due to the 'stinging' feeling when urinating.
