Hello
My dad aged 55 was told after an examination that it is very likely he has prostate cancer on 15th March, his PSA is 49. He had the MRI scan last week, CT on Monday, he has a bone scan this Wednesday and biopsy next Wednesday. Just asking for some advice as to how long the results normally take to come back?

Well, he certainly seems to have been treated rapidly, on the NHS, I presume.
If my experience is anything to go by, he should have a follow-up appointment with the consultant and his team around 7-10 days after his biopsy.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I dont know the proper answer to your question, but I'm pretty sure the consultant will wait for the results of all the tests so he (or she)will wait until ALL the test results are back in, so he can make a full diagnosis and give you a treatment plan. So I'd guess a week or two after the last test might be when you hear something.
Please try to be patient, difficult as that might be.

Thank you for your reply, really appreciate it! Yes all on NHS, hopefully only a couple of weeks to wait then, it’s difficult not knowing much atm.
