just updated profile, PSA now up to 8.8, surgery phoned whilst on holiday, when i contacted Nurse, she was concerned about rise, so i asked GP to contact Onco to see what, if anything, he might suggest, next bloods in June and scheduled Onco on 4th July .

i don’t expect any answers, this is just to let you all know i’m still here after 13 years and counting!

Yes I am still here, but my latest PSA says 80.8, so it looks like this round of Zolidex has stopped working, so what’s next guys?

I have been told by Onco that my Bone Scan says C has Metastasised, except I’m still waiting for the Scan!

I see my Oncologist at lunchtime today, so I hope he has some answers.

Chris.

PS, this time last year PSA was 3.9, and 14 years ago I had Surgery!

Roger, I still don’t know if it’s spread, but I think it has, so does Onco, but until I get bone scan, promised since July, it’s an unknown.

update on this years PSA readings, 3.9 on 27.12.18; 8.8 on 21.03.19; 17.9 on 19.06.19; 21.4 on 18.09.19 and 80.8 on 06.01.20

I don’t mind any treatment, but a scan would be good!

Result, carry on with Zolidex, start on Steroids now and Enzalutamide in about two weeks.

Sounds like a good plan to me Chris and hopefully it will see an end to the rising PSA.

Please keep us posted on your progress.

Been called in to Oncology next week, so Enzalutamide is now on the cards.

I’ve been looking at a few threads about side effects and coping with it, thanks Lyn for your continued answers to us all.
