Muse and Cialis

Hi,

We're just waiting to find out if we can get hold of Muse, apparently there's a shortage of it.  Anyway if we do manage to get it, can it be used with Cialis?  Not sure if both can be taken at the same time?

Thank you

The general advice and correct advice is not to mix medicines at all for ED. However I’ve mixed stuff with low dose Cialis eg viagra , Levitra , injections etc and have been ok. I would not use a full event dose of any drug on top of daily Cialis. For example I only added 50 mg viagra. Your doctor would advise no so I guess you just stop Cialis for a while ?? Anything with Alprostadil in it left me in agony afterwards with poor results ( caverject , Muse , Vitaros ). Invicorp was amazing and made me feel whole again. Four years post op I’m 100% normal again although on Cialis daily

Good luck

Thanks guys!!

Turns our the Muse is out of stock until September 😕 and although things are going ok the Cialis just isn’t enough! Would probably say 75% there. So now it’s waiting for ED nurse to get back off her hols before she can ask our gp to prescribe something else!  I notice you can now buy Viagra over the counter, I presume this is a low dose, but do you think this could be worth a try?

Have you tried the simple durex pleasure ring available in supermarkets , chemists , love honey etc. Just a simple cock ring ?? In my case it turned a 60% into a 95% every time. So simple and unobtrusive and under £10. Go get one now !!

I have used "dual therapy" for ED, mainly caverject plus Cialis, although also Cialis plus Viagra.

I have not had any problems doing this but my doctor and specialist advise against it. However, the caverject and Cialis remain on my repeat prescription list so maybe that is some sort of acceptance.

I have tried Muse in the dim past, it burns, and didn't work that well for me. We all vary however.

20 mg is the maximum dose of Cialis, lower doses may not be effective.

Or you can buy Cialis (Tadalafil) very cheaply from Dr Fox website. You are allowed a total of 60mg per week. 20 mg event dose with 24hrs between doses. I’m still 5 mg per day but if we go away for the weekend I’ll take 10mg for 3 nights etc

Just worked this out for amusement...

The half life of Cialis (Tadalafil) is about 18 hours (3/4trs of a day).

So if you normally take the 5mg daily dose, but bump up to the 20mg event dose occasionally, you can abstain for 3 days (4 half-lives) after the 20mg event dose before resuming the 5mg dose, as that's how long the event dose will take to decay back to the level expected if you had just stayed on the 5mg daily dose.

Except you can take full dose in close succession as long as you leave 24 hour gap so John just took 4 x 5mg one evening and then resumed the 5mg the next evening.

However, we were advised a number of times that daily cialis should never be mixed with viagra or caverject so I imagine the same would be said of muse. It meant that if cialis was taken in the morning, an injection could not be used that evening ... one of the benefits of taking the tablet each night rather than earlier in the day :-/

Very laudable calculations, but where is your algorithm for the other party if they have a ‘headache’?

I think I’m on a promise some time in 2021🤞

Cheers, John.

If you haven't tried a Chris cock ring aka a Durex pleasure ring you really should!

Works better than any medication I have tried apart from Caverject. Trick is to make sure you are "trim" down there! Of course if you are using a pump (which you should be) for exercise you will be!

The ring is all I use now and he seems to be working just fine despite a partial nerve sparing op.

We have got a pleasure ring from a vending machine, not a director one though so not sure how good it is. Do you guys use the pump first then apply the ring?

You can put the ring on and use the pump a bit or just get jiggy jiggy , and what he had before should be much improved for sure !! Good luck

Get the Durex one - they sell them in our local coop! Tried some Anne summers and they were no good.

I just pop it on when I want to penetrate so after foreplay etc

To be honest at your stage I couldn't get it up at all without the injections. Full function (without anything but the ring) for me came after 2 years, a divorce and a few girlfriends! As you are in stable relationship it should be a lot easier (and fun!). Good thing about the ring is that you can use with pills too!

Thank you so much, a durex ring is on my shopping list.
