Ciprofloxacin and Tendinitis

I had a urine infection with confirming with urine culture and the Doctor has prescribed me 28days Ciproflaxcin and warned me it can cause Tendinitis. I am a bit worried as I already had a major ankle fracture last year and struggling with associated tendon issues in the ankle taking ciprofloxacin may aggravate my tendon pain and issues. if anyone on this form has experienced the Tendinitis while taking Ciprofloxacin

I was prescribed Ciprofloxacin for a wound infection (two week course). I do suffer from tendinitis (achilles) on and off but thankfully it had no effect on it. Prior to that I had a UTI and was prescribed Co-Amoxiclav, so there are alternative meds if you have a concern. Chris
