Swollen stomach and other symptoms

Hi all

Had ongoing issues for well over 6 months (urinating often and leakage, pain in stomach, testicles, sick nausea, pins and needles, lack of appetite)

I'm currently waiting back results of MRI on prostate and booked in for CT scan on Tuesday with results back next friday.  MRI on spine all came back OK.

I accept there are lots of overlapping symptoms between prostatis and cancer.  However, 5 weeks ago my stomach started swelling considerably and the urologist isnt sure as to why.  Its incredibly uncomfortable, def not bloating as its solid and considerably large, the consultant said it wasn't side effect from the medication so oragnised the CT scan to investigate further.

Anybody else had swelling stomach whilst waiting for diagnosis and with similar symptoms?

Some of your symptoms are not particularly associated with prostate cancer or prostatitis- hopefully, your case notes will also be reviewed by a general oncologist and/ or other specialists as well as urology.

CT scan and MRI results back today. Confirmed prostatitis which is huge relief.

the swollen stomach isn’t not known, referred to specialist but likely to be rare  side effect from antibiotics

Huge relief to get the all clear on cancer, just now working through the pain and symptoms of prostatitis.

now just going to keep a log of symptoms and monitor with a follow up on few weeks.
