Hi All, just thought I would say hello, I am going through diagnosis at the moment.

Symptoms were lower back pain, issues with passing wee and some erectile issues.

Had a blood test and PSA level was 7.9 and therefore got referred to my local urology team.

Had a scan and MRI which showed a slightly enlarged prostate but not enough to warrant the level of PSA and so they referred me for biopsies.

Had the procedure and had 22 biopsies taken and now waiting for the results.

Also have had an X-ray on my spine which showed no masses so sounds good.

As expected my family are concerned and not enjoying the waiting for results as had 1 appt cancelled as lab had not processed the biopsies and now waiting for another appt.

Joined the community whilst researching the after affects of the biopsies as had a WTF Monet as was not really warned about the blood when ejaculting but mind was put at rest.

Thank you to you all.

Will update further when I have my results.

Yes. "There may be some blood in your semen" doesn't really prepare you for ejaculating tomato ketchup, but most of us have been there.
