Ayrshire and Arran News

NHS Ayrshire and Arran have just taken  delivery of a Da Vinci  Robotic Surgery machine at Crosshouse hospital in Kilmarnock. I’m afraid I cannot post a link however the Ayrshire Daily News is informing us that doctors from several different departments have started training on it.
This equipment will be a boon to the local area and hopefully it will mean that instead of driving all the way up to Glasgow for an operation and having the stress and hassle of trying to find a parking space, you can now have that stress and hassle nearer home at Crosshouse Hospital instead😂

Joking aside this is good news.

Excellent! "Leo" removed my kidney and did a very neat job of it 🙂.

Great News, just need to hope that PCa patients going down the RT/HT route get better access to Radiotherapy machines. Not bad for me only having to travel from Fife to Edinburgh but there were people from Dumfries having to stay in Edinburgh Monday to Friday to get treatment.
