Hi all

Sorry if this appears twice, but I tried to post and was told it was not allowed?

Anyway, I am 3.5 weeks into waiting for my biopsy result. I had abnormality felt on DRE, after PSA results of 5.2 rising to 5.9. I was Pirads 4 on MRI, and my dad had prostate cancer, so I am anticipating bad news when it eventually arrives.

In trying to learn as much as possible before having to see anybody, I have read a lot of very helpful posts on this forum. However, a few of the posts refer to "the toolkit" being really useful in assessing options. It may just be me being stupid (wouldn't be the first time) but I have no idea where to find this? Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Thanks in anticipation.....

Harry.

Sorry you find yourself here. I don't like the search set up on this site.Follow this link, then scroll down to just diagnosed. At the bottom you will see Toolkit. Added it says out of stock, but I think you can download lots of the publications.

Also remember you can call the number at the top of the page and speak to the specialist nurses,a brilliant set of people.

Thanks Chris

I agree, the. more you read the better informed you are - but don't worry about the imaginary. It's like my wife who consults Google for every ache and pain and how has the world's longest list of ailments and diseases.

Just wait for the results and then you can plan.

:)
