Biopsy follow up

Afternoon all.

Well found myself here not a group you choose to join.

I had my biopsy a week back, feel as rough as a badger a*se since.

Just had an answer phone message re follow up appointment.

Anxiety isn't a normal characteristic of mine but,

My mind is now thinking.

They booked a face to face does that mean bad news normally? Or am I being way too pessimistic?

Thanks in advance

Graham

From what I can gather face 2 face for biopsy results seems to be the norm

Hi, sorry you find yourself here ….here’s hoping for a good outcome for you on results day!

yes I too understand it’s normal to have a face to face appointment for results, even if not prostate cancer, you may need advice or further investigations by urology for another condition.

what were the symptoms/situation that led you to a biopsy? Did you have high psa results?

Appointments are sometimes booked ahead of the biopsy results even coming back on the expectation of having them back by then, so you can't infer anything much by the nature of the appointment.

Wishing you all the best.

I don't think you can read anything into it.......I has bad news following my biopsy which was delivered in a phone call so there doesn't seem to be any patterns which we can use to predict any of it.

Good luck for the results mate.
