Maggies Fund Raising Event

User

I don’t know whether this is allowed on this forum but my friend from Maggies is taking part in a fund raising event to abseil off the Falkirk Wheel. As you all will know I am a great advocate for Maggies as well as PCUK, so if you’d like to sponsor him, here is the link. I was intending to take part as well but unfortunately I am on holiday abroad the day of the event on the 16th March.

Thanks,

Derek

It’s always nice  to hear some good news.

My friend Peter from Maggies was diagnosed just over a year ago, had his RARP and is doing very well just 1 year on from diagnosis…lucky so and so! He has been an active member of our Maggies Group in Fife and wanted to say thank you by taking part in a sponsored abseil off the Falkirk Wheel. He’s raised nearly £3000 for the charity, well done Peter. He’s posted some pictures….
