Very informative, but as  a Gleason 9, not enough laughs in it for me.

Joking apart, what are the cost implications, everything comes down to money.

I remember seeing this on the news 6 months ago, and thinking great stuff, but when is it going to happen?

Then I saw another link relating to a similar trial that was done 4 years earlier!

Thanks francij1,

I've just watched it and found it useful, especially the encouragement to press for a PSMA scan and to negotiate with Consultants about what any proposed treatment will actually offer in terms of future quality of life.

Thanks for sharing.

I often wonder where dh would be now had they done a psma scan at his first diagnosis. But they don’t offer it. Psa was 3.7 and apparently Gleason 3+3. He obviously had it in the lymph nodes all along. It took 5 years before his psa went up after brachytherapy, the fact there is no cancer in prostate now tells us it was in the nodes all along.
