Just received my PET report.
The summary states:
Mild foci of activity in the prostate gland left greater than right compatible with known malignancy. No evidence for extra prostatic metastatic disease.
Since it comes back as mild, I went looking into the other detail buried in the report and they report prostate gland right maximum SUV 3.1 and prostate gland left maximum SUV 3.6.
These appear to be very low SUV value’s if your core biopsy has a core that is Gleason 8. I was wondering what other’s have received in their SUV values relative to their Gleason scores. Thanks
