My husband is now on his radiotherapy, had 9 58 to go. We were told he could not go swimming while having radiation, but at the radiotherapy unit he meets someone every Monday, not sure of her role, said he could, any advice please,

Just bumping you up the list. I assume you are referring to Gys not sessions that your OH has had. We are all unique and your medical team are the right people to advise you about the swimming. Good old Google cites skin irritation to the treated area from the chlorine as a reason not to swim and an increased risk of infection from the germs in the pool.
I am sure someone with actual experience will be along to help.
Best wishes for your treatment.
Thanks Chris
