Hi Alan_gg

I was so sorry to hear your story and about the loss of your brother. This is a horrible disease which creeps up on many of us unawares, my own diagnosis was quite by chance. It is hard enough knowing that you have the disease but made more difficult by having those around you suffering as well.

If you take the time to read the stories of the folk on here you can see an amazing variety of journeys. ( Just click on our name or the round picture to the side).

The helpline staff here at PCUk are absolutely outstanding- so please take the time to speak to someone if you wish. You are also more than welcome to vent in this forum - many do! It is a safe space and you will get some honest responses from folk who have been through similar experiences.

In the mean time please take care of yourself and those family members who must all be grieving for your loss, and it is not only about grieving for the loss of a loved one it is about grieving for what you and others have lost due to this disease.

Best wishes - stay positive

CeePee
