Hi Chris

not sure if you meant to ask me or Andrew?

After surgery I was left 60% inflated but then fully deflated before I went home after the bandaging was removed.

When I went for my check up at 4+ weeks the nurse thought I was partially inflated but not by much. She also thought I still had some swelling, mainly due to the fact that when deflated I wasn’t flatter where my penis bent, due to the ‘thicker’ implants I had, however at 10+ weeks I’ve seen no change so maybe I’m just lucky that it doesn’t look flat?

When I first inflated it to have intercourse I wanted to pump it up pretty hard but I found that by overdoing it so soon post op was really quite painful. I could actually feel the top of the implants pushing the underneath of the gland. By deflating the implants until the pain subsided I found the erection was still good enough for intercourse. Overtime I’ve found that the pain beneath the gland has reduced but not gone, which means that with time I can pump the implants more.

While my erection isn’t as large as it was before, I am able to satisfy both my wife and myself and I’m so much closer to being ‘normal’ compared to before my implant surgery. As time goes on I’m sure it will only get better.

One thing that was emphasised a few times before my surgery was that the implants wouldn’t increase my penis length, like a ‘real’ erection, and this is true. However, because nothing was said about the girth, I expected this to increase substantially with inflation but that isn’t the case.

While my penis is not as large or as hard as it was pre prostatectomy, when inflated the implants gave given me back some normality and sex can once again be spontaneous. 👍

wishing you all the best

Richard
